Not every site is easy to clear. Steep banks, dense scrub, and ground too rough or unstable for conventional machinery have always meant extra time, extra risk, or turning the job away altogether.
That’s where our newest piece of equipment comes in.
Meet the Green Climber
We’ve recently added a remote-controlled Green Climber (MDB LV800 PRO) to our grounds clearance fleet. It’s a compact, tracked machine built specifically for ground that conventional machinery simply can’t handle safely, and it’s operated entirely by remote control, meaning our team stays at a safe distance from the difficult terrain at all times.
What it can do
The Green Climber is built for slopes up to 60° in any direction, making it ideal for banks, embankments and steep verges that would otherwise be a health and safety headache. With interchangeable flail and mulching heads, it handles everything from routine grass and verge cutting through to clearing established scrub, brambles and small trees up to 20cm in diameter, mulching material as it goes rather than leaving arisings behind to collect separately.
It’s proving particularly useful for:
- Overgrown grass, verges and embankments
- Banks and steep slopes
- Rough or unstable ground
- Dense scrub, brambles and saplings
- Beside waterways, ditches and reservoirs
- Sites that are difficult or unsafe to access with a tractor or manned crew
- Larger areas where speed and efficiency matter

Why Remote-Controlled Site Clearance Matters
Working on steep or unstable ground has always carried real risk, both for operatives and for machinery. By keeping the operator at a safe distance via remote control, the Green Climber removes people from the riskiest part of the job while still getting the ground properly cleared, not scraped over or left half-done.
It also means jobs that were previously impractical or prohibitively slow with handheld kit can now be tackled efficiently, which is good news for site owners who’ve been putting off clearance on that one awkward bit of ground for years.
