Our specialist MDB LV800 PRO Green Climber is a remote controlled tracked machine built for ground that defeats conventional mowers and tractors — steep banks, soft or uneven terrain, and areas that are difficult or unsafe to maintain in the usual way. Because it is operated by remote control, our operator works from a safe position well away from the machine and the cutting head.
With interchangeable flail and forestry mulching heads, the same machine handles everything from routine grass and verge maintenance through to clearing established scrub and small trees — on slopes of up to 60° in all directions.

Roadside verges & embankments
Our remote controlled flail operates on slopes of up to 60° in all directions, which makes it particularly well suited to roadside vegetation management — steep verges, banks and embankments maintained without putting an operator or a conventional tractor on unstable ground.
Regular flailing prevents vegetation encroaching onto carriageways, footways, access routes and sightlines. We provide one-off clearance where growth has got away, and scheduled maintenance programmes — typically two or three cuts a year — where sightlines and access need to be kept consistently clear.
Banks, slopes & difficult ground
The Green Climber’s tracked undercarriage, low centre of gravity and remote operation let it work across steep and uneven terrain, including:
- Steep roadside verges
- Road and railway embankments
- River and watercourse banks
- Reservoir and drainage banks
- Estate and parkland slopes
- Rough, soft and uneven ground
- Sites with restricted or difficult access
- Slopes where conventional tractors cannot safely operate
Its expanding undercarriage and offset cutting head also allow the machine to work beyond its own footprint, reaching over ditch lines, kerbs and bank tops without the tracks having to follow.
Remote Controlled Site Clearance
Fitted with a forestry mulching head, the LV800 PRO becomes a site clearance machine for ground that conventional plant cannot reach. It cuts and processes standing scrub, brambles, gorse, saplings and small trees in a single pass, reducing everything to mulch on site — no chipper, no haulage, no ground crew working in the hazard zone.
This makes it a practical answer to clearance jobs that are otherwise slow, expensive or simply unsafe:
- Overgrown embankments and cuttings returned to a maintainable condition
- Scrub and bramble clearance ahead of survey, fencing or construction work
- Firebreaks and access corridors cut through dense growth
- Reservoir, drainage and watercourse banks cleared of encroaching vegetation
- Neglected estate and parkland ground brought back under management
- Clearance on soft or unstable ground where wheeled plant would rut or sink
- Sites where working near a live carriageway, water or a steep face makes manned operation the wrong choice
Our TF150 mulching head cuts a 1.5 metre swathe and takes scrub and trees up to 20 cm in diameter, processing brambles, gorse, saplings and standing scrub into mulch as it goes. Heavier standing timber is felled first by our arboricultural teams, with the Green Climber following behind to clear and mulch the understorey.
