Weed Control
Weed control is important to help keep premises looking their best. Whether its controlling weeds in hard standing, such as brick weave or pavements; controlling broadleaf weeds and moss in fine lawns; or controlling invasive or noxious weeds, we can help.
We take a responsible, environmentally conscious approach to vegetation and pest management, prioritising non-chemical methods wherever practicable to minimise environmental impact while still achieving effective long-term control.
Grounds Maintenance Services
Our Services
We offer:
- Herbicide treatments to control annual and perennial weeds on hard standing and soft surfaces.
- Selective herbicide treatments to control broadleaf weeds in lawns and paddocks. These treatments can be combined with lawn feeds and moss killers.
- Invasive and noxious weed control to eradicate the problem and ensure legal duties are met.
- We can treat and control Japanese knotweed, giant hogweed, Himalayan balsam, hemlock and ragwort.
- Insecticides and fungicide treatments to help control pests and diseases. Such as the control of Box tree moth caterpillar, Brown Tail moth caterpillar, Vine weevil, Leatherjackets, Chaffer grubs, mildews, rusts, leaf spots and leaf curls.
Operatives are trained in the safe us of pesticides and hold PA1 and PA6 with additional training to work on or near water and for the installation of pesticide plugs in tree stumps. All operations are carried out in accordance with the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).
We provide flexible solutions including one-off treatments, scheduled programmes within ongoing grounds maintenance contracts, and fully tailored treatment plans for the control and eradication of specific vegetation or plant health issues.
